Vijes

Vijes is ubicated at 31.4 km of cali. Now my cousin and me are in the town RIVERA, here we can feel that everything is natural, we can see great trees, guava trees, guama trees, soursop trees, and much trees more. We start our trip walking from rivera to the principal park  of vijes.

Here start the great adventure to discover the great nature that hides VIJES.

Rivera, Our Start

We started walking from Rivera to the principal park of Vijes, we were between the mountains, where? we didn't know we only  knew that we were in someplace of vijes walking to the park from the rivera. them we were near to a river, we see a wonderful landscape, everything is green all is natural, we smelled the grass, we heard the river flowing. we knew that there is one path, the only path that entails to the principal park but we were exploring so we take differents paths that crossed ther forests. coming, we were near to a river but we found a perfect setting before arrived to the river; it is the combination between the human and the nature, so that was the moment for the first photo. vijes is wonderful because you see a lot of animals running near to you, animals, like cows, rabbits and zariguellas, you could see too, big spiders, snakes, horses, dogs, cats, turtles, so on... the trees were big you could not see its top. this was the first photo look...

so, then we took one path that we never have seen, there were plants in the road that hindered our walking, when we crossed the river, (it was a little river), my cousin saw a fish so we followed it and we looked that near of us there was a shoal so we took our shirts and we used it to catch the fishes, due to river flow we could not to see the fishes, so we only submerged and we walk againts the river flow to fish. at the end, we only fish ten fishes, and we  put them in the backpack. we followed walking, crossing the forest, we had food so while we were walking we ate it, then we left again of the forest and we saw other beautiful landscape...

 

when we followed walking, we found the found other path, it was rocky, but we noticed that some vehicles pass on there. we found a farmer, he dressed a poncho, boats, cloth trousers and he had a long beard, he offered us food, we followed him to his home and we took a break, we ate aborrajado and rice with longaniza and the rice was delicious. we started our trip again....

Since here we saw the church of vijes, we went to another river we were showing on it, when a little snake under the dark water bitted my cousin, and we left of there, I absorbed the poison of his leg. foertunately a vehicle pass for there and we stopped it, the driver looked like bored, he dressed a poncho too, we told him that take us to the park, he told us yes,so we follow the road in the vehicle. when we arrived to the park, we walked to the hospital that was at two strets. the nurse told us that the bit it was not dangerous, so we left of there and we sat near of the park and we ate bread with soda. some day we will come to that river, because my cousin wants to see more snakes.
